Vote in the 2008 election, the road to change is here, choose wisely!

With over 80,000 jobs lost in the month of March and a growing foreclosure crisis, we are surely on a fast track to an economic recession. Would you like to be witness to an economic crisis? Better yet, would you want to contribute to the formation of an economic recession?

What if I told you that despite the utter idiocy of these questions, many Americans are willing to allow such a thing to come to pass! I?m here to tell you that this can be stopped and reversed and that you have the ability to contribute to this.

Believe it or not, most of these issues stem back to the government and more specifically the officials heading the government. The poor decision making ability of these officials are what cause these issues to proliferate. Under the presidency of George W. Bush, the US economy has undergone a dynamic plunge. The National debt as percent of Gross National Product has increased over 10 percent. The national debt has increased hundreds of billions of dollars in over the course of a few years. The strength of the dollar had deteriorated 60% in value relative to that of the Euro. In addition to this, the price of oil has tripled from $30 a barrel to over $100 a barrel. Not only has our debt gone up dramatically, but the value of our currency has diminished! You would think that with these staggering statistics, everyone would be actively trying to put this havoc to a halt in attempt to reverse this disaster, but no.

With the upcoming presidential election, we have the ability to end this disaster. Despite the fragility of our current economic situation, there are presidential nominees who believe that the previously imposed methodology of spending the USA taxpayer?s money is perfectly acceptable. I am here to let you know that this is unacceptable and should not be condoned.

We must work together in an effort to stop this. Together we can bring an end to this economic recession and foreclosure crisis. We can ensure happiness to all present and future Americans. Be sure to voice your opinion by voting in the upcoming election. Your contribution today could help create a better America tomorrow.

Obama at PSU

I had the great opportunity to participate in the penn state club, "students for barack obama." In this club, we were asked to meet a specific objective of registering thousands of voters. After many hours of volunteering to help register voters, we managed to register a surplus of 7000 people with most being democratic. Our tireless effort was recognized and appreciated by the Obama campaign. I also had the honor of participating in helping to set up the event of Obama's speech at State College. It was a great experience listening to Obama in person, one that made it all worth it. The influx to the event was staggering, over 22,000 people had attended the event.

For those who know of the book of revelations, it is discusssed about the coming of the antichrist. That the currency of the world will be united and we will all be forced to take on the mark of the beast...sound familiar?

2007 stocks

As you can see under The "my stocks" tab, these are some companies I felt had some potential. Elaborating on a few, I will explain a little of why I chose sirius, apple, and att. I chose sirius because I felt it had some potential given that being a satellite owner, I've found it to be a great experience with many advantages over its primitive predecessor, fm radio. I feel it could grow in the future as more people fall into it. I bought the apple and att stock prior to the iphone release anticipating the massive hype would do something to the stocks. With apple being bound to att, they would go seemingly hand in hand. The iphone stock has risen steadily whereas the att stock has remained fairly constant. We'll see the long term result of my choice as time progresses. This is all I feel like explaining, check back frequently for additions.

ps3 sales sluggish...

After almost a year, the previously highly praised ps3 has preformed way lower than many have anticipated. The main problem? The prices are too high. Double the price of a wii and soaring over xbox 360 by a longshot. Even with the recent $100 price cut, I'd still be willing to wait for the next generation revolutionary game console...

The iphone: success or failure?

A few weeks ago, I had a chance to goto an ATT store to see what all the hype is about the iphone. After fiddling with it for about 10 minutes, I decided to leave as I grew bored of it. The iphone is definitely a solid piece of hardware. The user interface is awesome, as it does well at drawing one in. One major issue is in holding the phone i could feel the massive heat dissipation leading me to believe it may overheat. The edge network is horribly slow. This was the main reason I was bored of it, waiting for webpages to load was very annoying. After hearing about the battery issue at hand, I would greatly recommend waiting for them to fix out some of the bugs. Being someone who wants the iphone, I'd be willing to wait for my $600 investment to be a little more secure.
